I've read a few self-help books and this is certainly one of the better ones, provided you fall into the target demographic (those who have a fear of failure). It is in-depth and draws a great deal of knowledge from the existing literature, at the same time providing helpful suggestions of other good sources. It deals with the intellectual and emotional side of the issue while also providing a lot of practical solutions. Well worth the time and money!

I wasn't looking for a book on this particular day, but the title just grabbed me,and before I knew it, the book had jumped into my hand,dragged me to the checkout and paid for itself without me realising. A slight exaggeration maybe, I actually had to pay for it, but I really got the title, it made sense to me, It hit home... What IS stopping ME?? I didn't know there was until I read the book.
It hit home on different levels, putting things off, not following through on started tasks etc. Having read the book I'm driving forward,doing the things I was putting off.I've entered an Adventure race,something I've talked about doing, now I've done it. A HUGE drive impetus and I LOVE IT.
This book made a HUGE difference to my outlook on issues that I didn't know were issues. Get this book if you feel that you put things off or procrastinate on issues , don't get it if these things aren't a problem for you.
